Pork Friendly was founded with a single goal in mind, supporting Pork families across North America. Started by Chris and Larry Bertrand, we are a small family business interested in helping others on the same scale. Utilizing our vast network of friends throughout the industry, as well as our own knowledge and skills, we help families optimize their business operations.

We started our business in 2019 as licensed and bonded seller's agents, promising to be honest, fair, and transparent in our operations as we bring a multitude of services to our clients.
Larry Bertrand
Pork Industry Expert
Growing up on the same farm his great grandfather purchased in 1876, Larry comes from a generation-long family farming system. After high school, Larry chose to study agriculture and knew he would spend his life in the field. For the last 30 years, he has spent time as a team leader at industry-leading companies such as Oscar Mayer, IBP-Tyson, Triumph Foods, JBS, and Genesus Genetics.
